Jenny is now officially job hunting. I'm really looking for something that is going to allow me to work morning, noon and night with a fun team on a fascinating piece of Engineering. A nice mix of benchwork, management and site work would be ideal. Engineering and then seeing the customer using the kit makes it all worthwhile.
I have now returned from sailing around the UK in my yacht 'Serenity'. This was my time off as a reward to myself for 6 years in Local Government, including 2 years on the back benches, two years as Executive Councillor for Planning and Transport, then a year as deputy Mayor, and finally a year as Mayor of Cambridge. It was a wonderful experience, but very tiring.

During my time on the Council, I have been working for Infomatrix Ltd as well as odd hardware/software contracts on behalf of J-Squared Ltd and Indoor Positioning Ltd.
